I am very fortunate to have people in my life that care about me (or at least pretend to). So, I've devoted a small space here in tribute of my friends. Although this is a work in progress, I am trying to give each friend their own page. Although you may be a little scared to see the kind of people I associate with, I assure you, it's safe to browse the following pages... or is it? ;-)

All of these names are here because I have mentioned them in my journal entries and wanted to provide a cross-reference to those who may not be familiar with the people I am talking about. So of these people have their own page devoted to them. If you see a link, check it out!

Angie Carson
Angie started working at Bella Brava a short time after I did and we became instant friends. She's so great! She's the buddy I call up when there is some new avant-garde play or critically acclaimed indie film that I want to see. She's also always good for a laugh. She moved back to her hometown back in April 2007. I miss her! (updated 05/21/07)

Chrissy Dobrowski
With a last name like "Dobrowski," you know she must be destined for greatness. Chrissy played Rizzo in the first play I did in Floirda (Grease! obviously). Since then, she's gone on to do some amazing productions, including winning a Lary Award! I heart her so much! (updated 10/05/06)

Ethan Helms
Ethan is my younger brother. He's very fortunate to look a lot like me (but with straighter hair, and obviously not as good-looking). Whereas I do theatre and paint and write and such, Ethan is an incredible athlete and also a rock star! I guess my family is just dripping with talent. (updated 09/13/06)

Corey Lista
Corey and I met doing Grease! in the summer of 2005. We've been pretty good friends since. Corey has an extraordinary voice. You can hear some of his songs on his website: http://www.coreylista.com. He's probably my biggest fan now that I've linked his website to mine. :-) (updated 10/05/06)

Amanda Plyler
Ballerina extraoridaire! I met Amanda while at Mississippi College, even though she didn't go there. She dances with Ballet Magnificat, a Christian ballet troupe in Jackson, MS. We went to the same church for a while and just became good friends. She's originally from California, and I miss her! (updated 09/13/06)

Ann Potter
Ann is my wonderful and utterly fabulous aunt from St. Petersburg, FL. When I lived in Florida for my two year stay, I lived with her. Even though it was only supposed to be temporary, she let me live with her for my entire tenure there. She is a personal trainer and a tremendously gracious person. It's that Mississippi charm that we were raised on! I love her a whole lot and I miss her. (updated 05/21/07)

Claire Price
I met Claire while in school at Mississippi College. We actually had a mutual friend. We hung out some, but it wasn't until senior year that we became really close. She's in Mississippi now, and I miss her! Check out more about Claire on her page. (updated 09/13/06)

Vicki Shuster
Vicki is one of my theatre peeps. I met her when she auditioned for A Midsummer Night's Dream back in 2005. I didn't cast her (whoops!), but I did ask her on as my assistant director. We've been pals since. Right now Vicki is currently expecting her first child! She's due in February. Let's hope it doesn't interfere with Two Gentlemen of Verona! Just kidding! :-) (updated 09/26/06)

Jordan Stovall
A theatre buddy! Although I have not performed on the same stage as Jordan (yet!), I have seen him in a couple shows. I got him a job at Bella Brava when I was working there, so I guess we were co-workers as well (even though we both left around the same time). Currently, go goes to St. Pete High and will graduate next year! (updated 09/13/06)

Alice Claire Thompson
I met Alice Claire my junior year at Mississippi College. She was a freshman. We made a fast connection. We had our down times, but we still remain in contact. In fact, she's one of the few people that talk to at LEAST weekly. She's my Princess Pea! (updated 09/13/06)

Taylor Trensch
One of my first theatre friends in Florida! I met Taylor when we did Grease! together in the Summer of '05. We've been BFF since! He's an amazingly talented performer, and I think he's going to go far. He's a senior at Blake High School this year. (updated 10/05/06)

Now, many people tell me that posting a list of your friends is a dangerous thing to do, because one of my friends may not see their name on there and assume that they are not good enough, or whatever. However, there are several reasons why someone's name is not on there: 1) I am currently working on their page, 2) I do not have a picture of them, or 3) they are a more recent friend and I haven't updated this page. So, if you feel like you should be on this page, email me and say, "What's the deal, Austin?" I will gladly assist you in any way I can.
