I'm in NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Well, acutally I've been here for almost 2 months. Sorry I haven't been able to update. I was without a computer for a very long time. And even after I got one... well you know, life is crazy. I'm living in a new and very busy city. But let me give you the update.

So I moved into my friend Glenn's apartment. He is back in FL for the summer. So it's kind of Trading Spouses, but um... different. But almost as soon as I got here, my future roommate Kyle had to leave the European cruise ship he was performing on. So, Operation New Apartment had to move up to July, instead of August like we planned.

Fortunately, we found the sweetest deal ever in Manhattan. We signed on a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom duplex in the upper east side. It's the most amazing apartment ever. Kyle is already living there and Glenn will be moving in toward the middle of August. I'm sort of halfway there and here in Glenn's. I won't have furniture until my family comes up in one week. I'm super excited!!!

And how am I funding this incredible apartment? Well I have a job as an enrollment counsellor for the University of Phoenix. Basically, when people ask about information, I call them up and find out why they want to go back to school and help them through the admissions process. It's actually a lot of fun. I love the people I work with (and it also pays well). So even though it's not my "field," I'll stick with it for now.

So what else have I been up to here in the city? Hmm... Well I've seen a lot of Broadway shows. I've seen Grey Gardens, Avenue Q, A Chorus Line, Hairspray, Patti Lupone in Gypsy, Altar Boys... *takes a breath* 110 In the Shade and Xanadu (twice). So yeah. I love it. Obviously. It makes me wish I was still doing theatre, but the level of committment it takes to do it up here is not something that I want to, well... commit to. I am planning on starting dance and voice lessons again. We'll see if that curbs the desire for a while.

Well that's all you're gonna get for now. I'll hopefully be able to really update the entire site in honor of my New York residency. It's really exciting!!!!!!
